I say these are the best because they are the least controversial and very easy to implement(imo of course).
1) Buff Guard:
- Increase ammo twofold
- Increase DMG of the Mac by 10-20%
- Add a flash or more grenades
Why?
-Guard has way too little ammo for the situations it is placed in, runs out quick
-Mac’s DPS is worse than the DMG a Recon knife does to a Heavy(obv exaggerating but you get the point)
-Guard is supposed to defend its allies, how can it do that when it can’t even defend itself?
2) Nerf Lancer:
- Remove all Lancer crits
Why?
- There are so many ideas for balancing Lancer... but this one is not dramatic and will allow Lancer to have its dominance in the map but in a moderate fashion. With crits Lancer is pretty much a hacker on the map. P.S: it’s really unfair for Guards and Heavies(crits = 1 shot kill)
- Killing with the Lancer class with this modification is still relatively easy but it gives other classes a better matchup against Lancer.
3)Nerf Commander:
- Remove ability to slow enemies behind walls.
why?
- there was a thread about this a while ago and so many different ideas came out... but the one that was catching ground was to remove the slow aura behind walls.
- removes trolling
- does not ruin the flow of the game
- for real, it’s straight up annoying
- not a drastic nerf
- forces tactical usage of Commander?
additional ideas...
-bring back Specialist
why?
- would spice up the game
- would be balanced since there would be many counters to it
- if it needs a buff, increase DMG of the poison dart gun
Note: I understand that Alex has different priorities, namely migrating PG and PT to As3, but these are just ideas for future reference. All that would have to be done is tweak a few numbers in the code!
