Obamacare is thievery. Some states, like CA, force citizens to purchase health insurance. It's unethical to force people to buy optional things.
I haven't been to the doc in 6 years, and it was with a physical therapist for a minor cycling issue

Forcing a person to purchase an optional item is thievery. You can apply that sentence to solar panels, electric cars, guns, fire insurance, life insurance, etc but God forbid you believe it's ethical to force people to buy any of those things

Agreed. Instead of forcing you to buy insurance, we should include it in your taxes and make healthcare universal for all citizens.
That way you're not "forced" to buy anything.
People dont realize we already have plenty of social programs. Police, fire, Schools, Social Security, Medicare/Medicaid, subsidies etc... all funded by taxes. So instead of Medicare, well call it "Americare" and every American is covered. No one will have to choose between a doctor visit or buying groceries. Getting sick will no longer lead to bankruptcy and ruin. Most civilized modern countries have some sort of universal healthcare. Its time to join the modern world.

originally yes, and then people realized how greatly it affected their lives, and people have since been able to live while dealing with conditions they otherwise wouldn't be able to. the people making noise are people that otherwise would be able to afford it themselves. people that are complaining that the next president got 4 million+ votes over the incumbent president and have to rationalize it with their fact-denying ideology by saying unsubstantiated accusations like it was rigged. 10 lawsuits were filed, and 0 evidence. solid work boys and girls.
I don't belong to a political group and I didn't vote in 2016 or 2020. I respect everyone for their political views and I do have alt-right friends, but I live in Sacramento and I have 5 times more liberal friends

capital punishment, face masks, Trans-Pacific Trade, China Tariffs, oil fracking, ACA
The ones in bold are what I care about most, so I lean towards Trump.
didn't know that, but I do know that many Americans are overweight, smoke, drink, abuse pharmaceuticals, etc. I buy my foods from Whole Foods, Sprouts, Trader Joes, and overall my family is very healthy. No way I want to be grouped with the common populace. I'd rather have the ACA abolished, which is what Trump wants

Obamacare has good intentions but it's fundamentally flawed. It should have been presented as an available option, rather than making it a choice between mandatory enrollment or tax penalty. Nevertheless, having health insurance is important even if you are healthy. Most employers offer it as a benefit and cover most, if not all of the total premium costs.
There's a lot more you can complain about places run by the democrats.
This is very true. Blue states mismanage taxpayer money and lack law and order. Take California for example, thefts that involve less than $950 is classified as misdemeanor and "tolerated". Shoplifting and robbery are becoming more and more common because there are no consequences. People literally go into stores with huge garbage bags and shamelessly empty the shelves. It also wants to be environmental friendly, yet a bus ride costs $3 and a monthly pass cost $100+. It's actually cheaper to own a car. The state propositions on the ballot were mostly about raising taxes even more to support useless stuff that don't really benefit the society. Keep in mind that California already has the highest tax rates in the country.

Obamacare is laughably unaffordable. I went without health insurance for over a year because I could not afford it. Then they had the audacity in the past to impose a tax penalty on people who couldn't afford to carry insurance. Thank God that
