Outlined below is our collection and use of your data, and what you can expect as a visitor.

Our forum software may send you emails for verification and notification purposes based on your account settings.

Data Stored On Your Device Details
Session tokens and Cookies When you login to our website, a session token is saved to your browser cookies to keep you logged in. Our forum software may use other cookies to save user preferences. Third party embeds in forum content others post or share may attempt to set their own cookies. We have a cookie notice to prevent it from happening automatically.

Tracking by Third Party Media Providers

Forums allow users to share media from other websites. Embedded media may download from a third party website and embed into the page using an iframe.
Embedded content doesn't know what web page it's loaded on, due to us setting our referrer policy to no referrer. So viewing this content on our forum is no different from directly visiting the website it's loaded from. What forum visitors may not expect is that the video provider's own privacy policy will apply to how they handle data about the video being watched.
Our forum software now prevents third party media from automatically loading if you selected 'Reject optional cookies' (and third party cookies) or didn't yet pick an option in the cookie prompt. Additionally, our forum has an image proxy to fetch images from third party websites on behalf of the user for added speed and privacy.
Accepting all cookies may be unavoidable to unblock video players. We're always looking for better ways to prevent third party tracking. Please contact us if you have a solution for our forum software.

When is data aggregated and who is it used by?

When investigating harmful user behaviours such as game or account hacking, collected data may be aggregated by the staff investigating the incident. The staff will only have access to the data their role permits. Aggregated data can ensure we apply the appropriate security measures in response to an incident.

Due to the nature of their duties, the site administrator theoretically has access or potentially has access to any data stored or transmitted by PawnGame.com, and may access it to perform their duty of keeping PawnGame.com online and secure.
