Open The BEST rebalancing suggestions(imo)

I say these are the best because they are the least controversial and very easy to implement(imo of course).

1) Buff Guard:
- Increase ammo twofold
- Increase DMG of the Mac by 10-20%
- Add a flash or more grenades
Why?
-Guard has way too little ammo for the situations it is placed in, runs out quick
-Mac’s DPS is worse than the DMG a Recon knife does to a Heavy(obv exaggerating but you get the point)
-Guard is supposed to defend its allies, how can it do that when it can’t even defend itself?


2) Nerf Lancer:
- Remove all Lancer crits
Why?
- There are so many ideas for balancing Lancer... but this one is not dramatic and will allow Lancer to have its dominance in the map but in a moderate fashion. With crits Lancer is pretty much a hacker on the map. P.S: it’s really unfair for Guards and Heavies(crits = 1 shot kill)
- Killing with the Lancer class with this modification is still relatively easy but it gives other classes a better matchup against Lancer.


3)Nerf Commander:
- Remove ability to slow enemies behind walls.
why?
- there was a thread about this a while ago and so many different ideas came out... but the one that was catching ground was to remove the slow aura behind walls.
- removes trolling
- does not ruin the flow of the game
- for real, it’s straight up annoying
- not a drastic nerf
- forces tactical usage of Commander?



additional ideas...
-bring back Specialist

why?
- would spice up the game
- would be balanced since there would be many counters to it
- if it needs a buff, increase DMG of the poison dart gun


Note: I understand that Alex has different priorities, namely migrating PG and PT to As3, but these are just ideas for future reference. All that would have to be done is tweak a few numbers in the code!

lancer would still be busted regardless of the crits

make it light armor, match the speed with the armor type

You need some math behind your suggestions, you'll need the actual DPS of each class' weapons.
 
Yeah, I don't think it's that easy to Nerf/increase.

Lancer I think is fine.

lancer is not fine. At least add some mechanic to it that rewards good aim if the crit remains as a part of the class. i.e make the crit a charge shot that takes 2 seconds to charge but you can’t fire your weapon for 2 seconds after. That way you can’t just delete a whole team with random RNG in like 3 seconds lmao. Or like chern said, match the speed with the armor type. Either the same speed as assault, or light armor and same speed.

Too complicated, we'll just remove the crit.
 
The class was fine until a PT update added crits, then it fell out of balance. Crits will be revoked for the class and that's all.
 
leave lancer the way it is pls... maybe add 75 bullets instead of 50 if you're removing crits since now it'll take more ammo to kill classes especially recons

Did recons have to take 2 shots to kill a medium armor before crits existed?

bruv without crits it only takes like 4 lancer shots to kill recon

and 3 for medium armor
2 for heavy

KEKL. no don’t remove Lancer. Even though removing crits is a nerf, it’s still pretty much op. If no one wants to nerf the speed, why not reduce ammo to encourage good aim and discourage spraying?

Regarding Guard, it doesn’t need a big dmg increase but rather the accuracy debuff needs to be removed. Increase ammo and we’re good to go

regarding commander, slow aura would be obsolete if it can’t go thru walls, so either remove it or keep it the way it is and reduce the radius.
